There is probably a free photo editor on your pc already! These photo editor tutorials will bring you up to speed with image editing and
photo manipulation. Learning how to edit your photos is the next step once you
have mastered downloading your pictures and viewing them.
For these tutorials I am using the free photo editing software, MS Photo Editor,
which came as part of the Microsoft office package. If you have MS Word on your
computer it is very likely you have this free photo editor also. This is a basic image editing package but it can
do what most people want done with a photo.
So lets get started. There are so many possibilities with photo editing that I
will start with the absolute basics and work towards the more advanced.
When you open a photo, apart from just looking at it, you may want to zoom in on
a section of the photo. Here you can get
familiar with the Microsoft photo editor zoom function
The photo may need to be rotated so that it can be viewed properly. We need to

You may wish to edit out some part of the photo which you didn't intend to
include. This is called cropping a picture and is an extremely handy skill to
have. Here the photo editor free selection tool
allows you to cut out parts of a photo.
You need to know how to resize your photos for email and the web.
